"¹Watashi wa seizei shū ni kiete shimaimasu."
Sliding the phone back into her pocket, the woman ended the conversation she was having just in time to make it into the station. Having just arrived from Tokyo, she was a bit disoriented by the time changes and she felt weary. Even a werewolf was not immune to jet lag unfortunately they did not inherit the ability to survive indefinitely on zero sleep like the vampires. It was funny that she missed them at all truth be told as most of her kind did not share the same sentiment. There was one in particular that she shared a special bond, teacher to student, that she could say she would miss.
Yet as it often went duty called her back to her packs territory as it often did. With the activity of the bad bloods on the rise there was probably a list of asses for her to kick. That was to say if the hunters hadn't stepped in already. They were not a new player to field, just the way they went about hunting the supernatural changed. The humans became more efficient, got better tools and now they stood a chance. It was amusing to watch it happen as it changed their perspective quite a bit to no longer be the untouchable predator.
Walking out of the subway, she shuffled through the throngs of people wading through New York's underbelly trying to get to or from work. All she wanted was a warm bath and to sleep for the better part of three days she felt. As she climbed the steps, she almost did so begrudgingly as if she were being made to. A loud yawn escaped her lips as she stepped out into the cool night air. It was spring yet it was still a bit chilly at night even if she barely felt it's sting against her skin. Tera could definitely tell she was back, the first thing she smelled was the fumes of cares everywhere and saw an ocean of yellow cabs.
For a moment she wondered if he sent someone to pick her up this time. The last time she came home her father was busy and there was no one to greet her when she arrived. While it wasn't like she required an escort, she still felt a bit miffed that no one had come. Taking her phone into her left hand she sent a text that read: "On the ground. ETA twenty minutes" and closed her phone. Taking one last look around, she attempted to pick someone she knew out of the crowd of people flooding in and out of the subway.
